Refund Policy

How refunds work for AnyCaptions subscriptions, provided by Lightmyst (ABN 20 698 858 244), Australia.

Try it first

Every new installation has a free 14-day trial with no card needed, so you can check AnyCaptions works for you before paying.

Our refund promise

If you subscribe and it isn’t right for you, email [email protected] within 14 days of any payment (monthly or yearly) and we will refund that payment in full, no questions asked.

When we refund a subscription we also cancel it at the same time, so your license ends and no further payments are taken.

After 14 days

We do not generally refund the unused part of a billing period after the 14 days. You can cancel at any time and keep full use until the end of the period you paid for. If something is wrong with the Software that we cannot fix, tell us and we will make it right.

Your consumer rights

Nothing in this policy limits your rights under the Australian Consumer Law or any other law that applies to you, including any right to a refund or remedy for a major failure.

How refunds are paid

Refunds are processed by Stripe Managed Payments (Link), our merchant-of-record service, to the original payment method. They normally reach you within 5–10 business days, depending on your bank.

Chargebacks

Please contact us before disputing a payment so we can fix the problem. A chargeback that is upheld revokes the license for that subscription.
